Peter Okoye tackles Dele Momodu

For saying Peter Obi has no chance at the presidency, singer, Peter Okoye has replied Ovation magazine boss, Dele Momodu.

KemiFilani News recalls that former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, emerged as the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), after Professor Pat Utomi stepped down for him.

During an interview on television, Dele Momodu declared that Peter Obi cannot win the 2023 Presidential election from a local party like the Labour Party (LP).

Momodu made this known when he was asked if Peter Obi has a chance to get youths to vote him into power come 2023 elections.

According to Momodu, the party does not have money to fund his aspirations. Therefore, Peter Obi might have to raise money for the party.

And Obi lacks the financial capacity to tackle top presidential aspirants like Atiku Abubakar who recently picked PDP presidential ticket.

Reacting to Momodu’s statement, singer Peter Okoye tackled him, by telling him that Peter Obi might not have the money and structure, but he has the youths, the masses and the people now.

He wrote;

“With all due Respect Sir Mr Dele Momodu! Yes Peter Obi might not have the money and structure! But he has the Youths,The Masses and The People now!. The truth is that we the people are the structure. We are many and we are powerful💪🏾. We are Obi-deint✊🏾 we can not be distracted.

“It is now beyond d delegates. D masses will control d outcome of d election. Will they vote for the candidate who paid delegates thousands of dollars to emerge as candidates or vote for Peter Obi who has plans to change Nigeria from consumption to production?

“You people don’t understand the
hardship and abject poverty that will hit us if
Peter Obi doesn’t win. It’s not about the North or South here, it’s about who will save us, the country is crumbling on all sectors, people are
dying unnecessarily, all these rubbish must stop.
