Pastor Fatoyinbo illness

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), has confirmed his illness, which he claimed was terrible.

The clergyman narrated how God healed him of the terrible illness, which held him down in 2022.

He made this known as he spoke at the International Minister Conference organized by David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church on Thursday, Fatoyinbo.

Although he did not reveal the nature of the illness, he testified that while receiving medical treatment, his mentor Oyedepo was praying and speaking blessings over him.

“Last year, I was a little bit ill and against everything, the medical sciences, Papa (Oyedepo) spoke, and I am here today.

And I want to give God the glory. I am well today, I used to be a drummer boy in Winners Chapel. Three years ago, I came under Bishop Oyedepo’s covering & my life, and ministry have been phenomenal,” he said.

New photos of COZA Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo spark worry

Kemi Filani reported in November last year that fans of Pastor Fatoyinbo,
were thrown into a state of worry following his appearance after being off the social scene for months.

The viral photos of his frail appearance were shared on COZA’s official Instagram handle to publicize their Special Sunday Service held at Manchester United Old Trafford stadium, in Manchester, England on November 27.

This was the first time his photos will be shared after an apparent withdrawal from the public since April 2022.

There were rumors that the Pastor was recovering from terminal sickness.

Court throws out Busola Dakolo’s rape suit, in favor of Pastor Fatoyinbo

Recall that in 2018, Pastor Fatoyinbo was accused of rape by singer, Timi Dakolo’s wife, Biodun Dakolo.

She filed a suit against him after she claimed that the COZA pastor raped her 20 years ago when she was 16 years in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Fatoyinbo denied the allegations and even took a break from the pulpit and later came back to ministration.

After months of legal battle, A High Court in Bwari, Abuja threw out the case.

This came after Fatoyinbo filed an objection and an affidavit at the Court reiterating that Busola’s statements were false and concocted to embarrass, scandalize and ridicule Fatoyinbo. He argued that from the inception, she sought the attention of the media and press, and brought civil action even while the Police’s investigation was ongoing.

According to Justice Oathman A. Musa in her judgment, the matter amounted to injustice, and an abuse of judicial process as the case was empty and purely sentimental, adding that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice.

The court also awarded costs of N1,000,000 against Busola Dakolo and held that the fine should have been 10 times more because the court’s time was wasted.
