Ooni’s new wife, Queen Temitope Adesegun tears up over his sweet gesture (Video)

Queen Temitope Adesegun, the sixth wife of the Oonirisha, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi couldn’t hold back her tears over the Monarch’s sweet gesture.

As the Ooni tied the knot for a sixth time to Princess Temitope Adesegun, the Ife king melted the heart of his new wife.

The monarch who wasn’t in sight on his wedding day, had placed a video call to his bride.

A video circulating online, showed the new Queen crying as the Ooni checked up on her.

The Ooni had called her up during her make-up session, hours before the wedding.

Pouring sweet words on her, Queen Temitope, couldn’t help but tear up.

Ooni weds Princess Temitope

The traditional wedding of the Ooni of Ife to his bride, Princess Temitope Adesegun held on Monday, October 24th.

KFN reported that Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi was tying the knot for the sixth time.

The monarch had picked an Ijebu princess, as his sixth wife and queen.

Photos and videos from the lavish event made it way to the internet.

Like his previous weddings, the Ooni was nowhere in sights, but members from the palace had stormed the venue to represent the King.

Who is Ooni’s sixth wife?

Princess Temitope Morenikeji Adesegun, is the CEO of Hopes Alive Initiatives (HAI). Her initiative is powered by the House of Odua inspired by the Ooni.

She is a princess from Adesegun Ibipe Royal Dynasty of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North LG of Ogun State.

Princess Temitope has a Diploma in Linguistics, University of Lagos; Diploma in Data Processing, University of Lagos; and Bsc in Business Admin, University of Lagos.

She is a certified alumnus of several universities, including the University of Oxford, United Kingdom; INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France; University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, United Kingdom; and Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the United States.

Princess Temitope is a TV Presenter ‘Health-Wise’. She ran a Health Advocacy Program, for Lagos State Ministry of Health under Governor Raji Fasola aired for four years.
