The Anambra state actor turned politician had earlier vied for the number one position in his state but the outing wasn’t successful.
Via his Instagram page, Yul Edochie further stated that it is indeed the time for the youths to take over the affairs of the great nation, Nigeria.
Sharing the support poster from the North Central Youth, he wrote, ” Thank you to my North Central brothers and sisters for the support. The older generation have divided and crippled us for too long with Tribalism and Religion. We’re tired of it. It’s time to unite and move our country forward. We’re one. Yes we can and we will.”
Kemi Filani News had earlier reported that Yul Edochie claimed he supported the presidential campaign of former Nigerian vice president Atiku Abubakar in 2019 with his full chest and he hopes to get the same support.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie said he proudly supported Atiku for the president’s office, not because of the money or paid to do it.
Yul Edochie further revealed that he resigned from his Government appointment to give Atiku his full support without any hindrance because he wanted a positive turnaround for the country.
However, Atiku lost to the All Progressive Congress party candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.
As the next presidential election is fast approaching, Yul hopes Atiku would support him as he did in 2019.
