Kate Henshaw, Kemi Afolabi, Omoborty, Nollywood stars storm Funke Akindele’s estate for mother’s burial
Award-winning box office actress Funke Akindele has finally laid her late mother to rest today, the 11th of March, 2023.
Photos from the event captured Nollywood stars who turned up for Funke Akindele’s mother’s burial.
Celebrities including Paschaline Alex, Cyndy Samson, Kate Henshaw, Bose Alao, Biodun Okeowo, also known as Omoborty, Kemi Afolabi and others, storm Funke Akindele’s residence for her mother’s burial.
Kemi Filani earlier reported that Paschaline Alex shared photos she took with Funke Akindele at her mother’s burial on Instagram, accompanied by a graceful caption about the deceased.
We joined My Woman @funkejenifaakindele to celebrate the life of her beloved mother as she was laid to rest.
“May her gentle soul Rest In Peace. We miss you, Mama Racheal Bolanle Akindele.”
This move was followed by Funke Akinele’s grateful comment.
She wrote: Thank you, my love
Her sister, Olubunmi Akindele, who shared a video of herself at the event on Instagram, wrote, “Ose Oluwa o baa oju ati eyin #IyaBunmi jee……Halleluyah si iwo Olohun wa!!!! Thankful and grateful to the most high God!!!”
Funke Akindele loses mother
Kemi Filani reported that Funke Akindele had lost her mother.
The news was shared by her sister, Olubunmi Akindele, who disclosed that they lost their mother on the 7th of February.
“It is with heavy hearts, but in total submission to God Almighty, that the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday, 07 February 2023.
May her gentle soul begin its rest eternal in peace. Amen. Obsequies in honour of her passing shall be announced in due course.
May her soul rest in peace, Amen”.
