Nollywood stars are rallying around their colleague, Debbie Shokoya as she opens up on her pregnancy loss.

Kemi Filani reported that Debbie, in an emotional video on her Instagram page, had tearfully recounted how she lost her pregnancy at 8 months.

According to her, everyone knew she was pregnant and she had even traveled out expecting to return with her child, but unfortunately, things happened and she had a miscarriage.

Begging for people to not bash her, she noted how she sacrificed and went through a lot for her unborn child, only for her to lose the pregnancy.

In tears, she stated that it hasn’t been easy for her as she bonded with her child so we’ll before the loss. See the video here.

Following the heartbreaking news, many of her colleagues have taken to their Instagram pages to show love to her.

The likes of Racheal Adelaja, Sola Olaibi, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Sunkanmi Omobolanle, Ronke Oshodi, Muyiwa Ademola, Kiki Bakre and others liked her post.

Dayo Amusa, Aisha Lawal, and Funmi Awelewa took to their respective timeline to drop a word of encouragement for her.

Funmi Awelewa wrote, “Sending your Love Debby. You’re a strong woman. God will be with you sis”

Debbie Shokoya gets engaged on Valentine’s Day

It is no longer news that Debbie Shokoya is happily married.

The Yoruba movie star got the shock of her life when her now husband proposed to her in February, going down on his knees to propose to her on Valentine’s Day.

Debbie Shokoya, who was taken aback thought she was going the spend the day with her partner, not knowing that he had something else up his sleeve.

The couple went on to tie the knot at a low-key ceremony, with rumors making rounds that she was already pregnant.

It was also alleged that Debbie had gotten married to a married man, an allegation the movie star hasn’t directly addressed.
