Yul Edochie, a popular Nollywood actor, and son to veteran actor, Pete Edochie, has declared his interest to run for Nigeria’s presidency come 2023.
Yul Edochie made this declaration as he turns 39.
The former SSA to Anambra state governor took to social media and wrote:
“Happy 39th birthday to me.
Last year l asked for wisdom, you gave it to me Lord.
This year I ask for your grace oh Lord as I prepare to run for President of Nigeria in 2023.
To bring real Peace, Unity & Progress.
The youths deserve a chance to fix our Nation
So help us God.
Amen!”
Kemi Filani News recalls that In 2018, Yul dumped his political position in order to campaign full time for presidential hopeful and candidate of the opposition PDP, Atiku Abubakar .
In a Twitter post, which he also shared on Instagram, Yul thanked the Governor of Anambra state Wilie Obiano and his wife, for allowing him to serve in the capacity of Senior Special Adviser.
