Some Nigerians have accused the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) of partiality following the suspension of Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday and colleague Adams Kehinde nicknamed Lege Miami.
Many people believe the suspension was a sham, knowing full well that there are others participating in a social media feud.
Following Baba Ijesha’s arrest, actresses Iyabo Ojo and Yomi Fabiyi were named for their altercation on social media.
TAMPAN’s reason for suspending Nkechi and Lege but not Iyabo and Yomi has been questioned by Nigerians.
Here are some social media responses from Nigerians:
“What about other members that have been doing rada rada since few weeks koooor! Why the recent ones! Abosi po laye yi oooooo!”
“What of Yomi and Iyabo Ojo.”
“So na them alone una see…nonsense.”
“You’re being biased with this sir. The case of Iyabo and Yomi is worst than this nothing was issue upon both of them till now. A warning would have been better.”
