Nigerians pour out their hearts over a frail photo of Olu Jacobs ahead of his 80th birthday

Olu Jacobs 80th birthday

Veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs has raised more concerns from his lovers and fans as a frail photo of him surfaced online ahead of his 80th birthday celebration.

Olu Jacobs, who will clock 80 on the 4th of July 2022, is being celebrated by legends and stars in the Nigerian movie industry.

Olu Jacobs’ wife, Joke Silva, shared an epic throwback of the legendary actor with a cheery caption anticipating his 80th birthday.

She wrote: “Who has the foggiest idea who this handsome young man is…#80@Glover Birthday loading….”

Worrying reactions have been trailing the photo of Olu Jacobs that surfaced online, with many expressing fear about the actor’s condition. However, he was highly celebrated and prayed for on social media.

Ehumadumiracle: Omg this man is slimmer, and has changed so much ,happy birthday,I hope you get better, much love and cheers to many more years

Ivynwa: Happy birthday to you the Living Legend, you’ll be waxing from strength to Strength, May your Days be Long and more Fruitful! Remain blessed Sir!!!!

Kemi Filani recalls that Joke Silva opened up on Olu Jacobs’ health condition after he disappeared from the movie scene for few years.

The actress opened up during an interview with Chude Jideonwo that her husband is battling dementia, a degenerative disease affecting the brain.

“He is dealing with issues and it is been going on for a couple of years. It is known as dementia with lewy body, it is a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it is almost like a Parkinson type of disease, it affects the brain and affects the person,…first time i’m saying this publicly….that is what we have been dealing…but the thing is, it is hard on him because he doesn’t understand what is going on and it is hard on us family members as well…we have gone through it over the past couple of years but we thank God….

We have gone through some times and situations recently that I wish i had the old you here so i don’t battle these times on my own but we are grateful for the moment of clarity ….I miss the times we work together!”

Why are nigerians pouring and pouring their hearts na. We all know he is sick. I am sad about it but that is life. I have grown from my baby age to see this Ribena man wax strong and gradually frailing by the day. Wat those who are pouring their hearts needs to do is probably show love and make donations to see he gets the best treatment he can get before his time comes. Let’s show love to this legend who brought smiles through decades to our noble hearts and homes.

Sir! The impression you made on me during one of your stage presentations at the National Theater is for always.

Even as a fellow Thespian -a senior one at that-, I never ceased to venerate you in my heart till date. But in All things we give thanks 🙏 to God as HE commanded us to.

I know that the God of all flesh would restore you to who you’ve always been. We all in the industry-(as we originally called it) still love and honor you anyway you turn out.

Personally, I pray 🙏 for a holistic restoration of your person by the resurrection power of the HOLY SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD. In Jesus Christ’s Mighty and matchless Name.
