Nigerians have reacted to a chart that expresses the impact of iconic Nigerian rapper and singer Olamide Adedeji on the career of other famous music artistes.
A chart making rounds on social media captured names of fast-rising music stars and already made music celebrities speaking on the impact of Olamide.
The chart includes music artistes such as Zlatan, Naira Marley, T.I Blaze, Bella Shmurda, Portable, Skales, Phyno, Jaido P, Asake, Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, CDQ and others.
The chart, compiled by a social media user identified as holuwaroyal revealed how each artiste claimed that Olamide changed their lives and career.
Kemi Filani recalls that Olamide dropped a deep message on Instagram hours after netizens linked him with rising singer, Portable’s misbehaviour on social media.
Olamide took to his verified Instagram story to share a deep message about letting go of certain things that many hold on to.
“Let go, not everything you seek is seeking you”
Kemi Filani made this report a few hours after Olamide was linked to Portable’s unbridled tongue and misbehaviour online.
Some claimed Portable’s fame was due to Olamide, who introduced him to the music industry.
Kemi Filani reported that Portable landed himself in trouble with the police when he claimed that he was the one who formed the infamous Ajah boys and one million boys in Lagos state.
The ‘Zazuu’ crooner generated angry reactions from Nigerians who called him out for his brutal behaviour and unbridled tongue that would lead him to jail.
While trying to retrace his steps, Portable denied his earlier statement, which was captured in a video, where he emphatically claimed he created the infamous one million boys.
He wrote: This has come to an end that I have to voice out… please everyone I wana let you know that I didn’t meant to campaign for APC it was a show they told that am going to before I saw myself in APC office and as a man no need to worry I gats to do the job since it involved money . And what I meant by 1million boys is meant 1million followers . People are threatening my life ooo you should all look into this
