Nonso Temisan Ajufo, aka DJ Big N has lamented over the state of the nation.The talented DJ signed to Mavin Records said that the Nigerian entertainment industry has saved many from the streets and gave jobs that the government could not provide.
DJ Big N made this known on Friday via his Instagram page.
In his words”Take out the entertainment industry in Nigeria. Then and only then will you understand that Nigeria is hell on earth. People suffering and smiling. An industry that saved many from the streets and gave jobs to citizens that the country couldn’t. A country that you have to get over ten licenses and permits to be a dispatch rider”.
Reacting to his statement, Nigerian singer Djinee wrote:” Words on Marble! In every interview I say this. That the entertainment is also decongesting the already over saturated labour market. People should be thankful to God that this industry exists”.
@DeejayNeptune wrote:”True that”.
@Niieedo added:” Dear BigN!! Nobody would know a country like Nigeria exists on a global scale if there’s no Nollywood & our music artists. Few foreigners who exclude entertainment as their knowledge about Nigeria only can say they know it as a corrupt place & a few Whites who used Google have asked me about terrorism (which is the effect of the evil government). I hope someday, the entertainment industry celebrates it’s success and achievements in putting NIGERIA on a world map. Until then, I hope we use the power we have acquired through these crafts globally to remove these evil old men who have killed Nigeria more than virus has ever done”.
