“Finally the crown has found its match” Netizens troll Ooni of Ife’s new marriage to rich Mariam Anako
Netizens have trolled the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi over his marriage to his new bride, Queen Mariam Ogunwusi, following the dramatic exit of his 3rd wife and mother to his heir, Queen Naomi Silekun.
Kemi Filani recalls that Ooni welcomed Mariam Anako into the palace as his official new queen on Tuesday night.
The new Ife queen was ushered into the palace after brief rites at the entrance of the premises before she was led into the inner court of the palace to meet her husband and other guests waiting to receive her.
Following the grand reception, Queen Mariam Ogunwusi made her first official post on Instagram a few hours ago by sharing photos from her wedding, where she finally met her husband.
The new queen accompanied her wedding photos with a love emoji, a declaration of her love for her husband.
The Ife Queen’s new page boasts a thousand followers a few hours after her declaration.
Amidst the new Ife Queen celebrations, netizens took to social media to express displeasure with the king by mocking his marriage pattern. Some queried the new wife for accepting the marriage proposal after how the king’s wife separated from him.
Kemi Filani recalls Queen Naomi’s dramatic exit from the Ife palace in 2021. The former Ife Queen shared details on her social media page about why she left the place and renounced her name and position as royalty.
She, however, sparked speculations that the king has a dual personality, claiming he is not what he portrayed himself to be on the outside.
