Social media users are tackling Singer, Bella Shmurda after he revealed in an interview that he has quit smoking.
The ‘Cash App’ crooner, in the latest episode of ‘In My Opinion’ podcast, said he stopped smoking weed four years ago because of anxiety. According to him, he was getting scared of the future. However, he still takes cigarettes and liquor.
Bella Shmurda asserted that contrary to reports that smoking a wedding boosts creativity, it never helped his creativity as it was affecting him in the studio and he was becoming lost.
“I don’t smoke Igbo [weed]. I used to but I started having anxieties smoking weed. I started getting scared of the future.
So, four years ago, I stopped smoking weed. I just take cigarettes and liquor.”
It wasn’t helping the creativity in my case.”
Everything I was doing when I was smoking weed, I was having anxieties. At a point, it was affecting me in the studio. I would just be lost in the middle. It wasn’t working anymore. I just have to stop. That was earlier in my career. It wasn’t helping.”

The singer who had openly admitted his addiction to smoking, as well as condemned the act and vowed to stop, has gone back to his old habit as he stated that it isn’t easy to leave it.
To top it off, Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy revealed he turned down a $5 million deal to perform in the United Arab Emirates, UAE because he wouldn’t be allowed to smoke weed while there.
He noted how the Emirate law prohibits smoking in parks, beaches, and all public recreational areas in Dubai, as made it known that he can’t go to any place where he would be restricted to smoke.
