Social media users have slammed Yoruba actors for not showing their support to their colleague, Osoba Temitope.
Hours ago, Biola Bayo announced the return of Osoba Temitope to the movie industry after years of break.
Taking to her Instagram page, Biola appealed to movie directors, producers, and production managers to send scripts to her as she is fully back on her feet. She appealed to them to remember her when casting and to give her support.
It’s been over two hours since she made the post and at the time of reporting only two actors have commented on it, Toyin Alausa and Adekemi Taofeek.
Reacting to it, a fan of Biola Bayo noted how celebrities would have flooded Biola Bayo’s comment section showing fake love if it was a death post.
The lady identified as Gorgeous Princess wrote, “No celebrity commented ooo but if to say she die ni, fake love go plenty”.
Many agreed with her as they noted how they would be reposting and verifying accounts.
Kemi Filani reported a few days back that Temitope Osoba had recounted a traumatizing moment of sexual assault by a family member.
The upcoming Yoruba actress, who took a break from the industry, in an interview with Biola Bayo, revealed that she moved out of her ‘toxic’ grandmother’s house to stay with her uncle. Unfortunately, things turned out worse for her, as her uncle was sexually assaulting her and making advances towards her.
According to her, the incident affected her career to some extent and she suffered depression because of her inability to make ends meet.
Similarly, last year, Mosun Filani who had taken a break from the movie industry, announced that she was back in the movie industry after years of being off-screen.
Urging script writers producers and directors to send scripts, she noted how there is time and season for everything.
Recall that Mosun quit acting after she married her husband, Kayode Oduoye, a politician and son of late Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Simeon Oduoye to keep up with his image.
More so, her husband was planning to contest for an election, and the realization that she might need to relocate to Abuja with her husband made her give up her acting career.
Unfortunately, Mosun’s husband lost at the polls, and the movie star decided to concentrate on her beauty business and caring for her family.
