Netizens dig up an old video of Davido begging Wizkid for an album.

There’s a popular saying in Nigeria that goes ‘the internet never forgets’, and it has come to pass on several occasions, especially with celebrities.

In a recent development, a video of Davido telling an interviewer that he had tried to work with Wizkid several times surfaced the internet.

This video surfaced shortly after Davido accused Wizkid of being a beggar because he had earlier announced that both of them would be going on a tour.

In the old video that surfaced, Davido shared that he had reached out to Wizkid several times, so that they could work on album together, and even go on tour, but it didn’t come to fruition.

Davido and Wizkid have been at loggerheads for years, and every once in a while, they give fans hope of a reconciliation, before going back to claw at each other’s necks.

The most recent public spat between them has been very interesting to witness, as both singers have proven to have sharp tongues.

Wizkid called Davido’s songwriter Peruzzi a pant washer, and he also taunted the singer for not being able to write his songs without some form of help.

Davido on the other hand three jabs at Wizkid’s career, insinuating that he was no longer relevant in the music industry. Shortly after that, he mused about people allegedly being scared of Wizkid.

The aforementioned singers aren’t the only ones who have been trolled recently, as Kizz Daniel and Tekno have been caught up in the mix.

Kizz Daniel threw shade at Tekno, basically stating that he didn’t have money, and Tekno didn’t take it lightly, threatening to expose Kizz Daniel over unknown secrets, while warning him sternly.

Timaya also faced some backlash for interfering in Wizkid and Davido’s fight, but he quickly resolved the issue by calling out his social media manager for posting content without permission.
