Nasty Blaq tenders apology over comedy skit allegedly promoting rape

Comedian Nasty Blaq has apologized over a skit he made which was taken by many on social media to be a promotion of rape.

The skit showed the comedian thirsting after a lady who approached him to request for some cooking oil.

Instead of turning her down or giving her what she requested for, Nasty Blaq dragged her into his room.

This followed backlashes from social media users who accused him of promoting rape.

Nasty Blaq has now issued a word of apology over the skit which he said wasn’t really intended to promote rape in any form.

“From the depth of my heart, I apologise to everyone who got offended by my latest skit. To make it cleat the rapey reception wasn’t what I and my team intended.

My team and I are of the strong belief that we all learn to unlearn and relearn every day and on this note promise that such content will definitely be avoided,” the apology letter read.
