Naira Marley speaks on the condition of people he met in jail

Naira Marley has expressed desire to help many people who are currently suffering in jail due to various offenses.

The singer who recently got released from custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, revealed how several of those he met in jail were kept there without trial.

He spoke of how one of them has never been charged to court but has been in jail for 9 years. Wondering about the guy’s fate, he asked “what if he’s not guilty?”.

Another was locked up because he was dating the daughter of a rich woman. He’s been in jail for 2 years.

Naira Marley was released dew days ago after spending weeks in custody of the EFCC. He’s being accused of internet fraud popularly known as Yahoo Yahoo.

The singer was arrested alongside four others who were released earlier than him. According to the EFCC, a laptop found on him contained incriminating evidence.

He was released on bail in tune of N2million plus two sureties. His next court hearing is slated for October.
