Naira Marley calls for the release of Zinoleesky Shubomi and others

Nigerian singer and record executive, Naira Marley born Azeez Adeshina Fashola, has called for the release of his artistes and musical associates.

The president of Marlian Music in a series of tweet lamented over the level of injustice done by the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to his artistes.

He noted how he was once harrassed by the officials and how the same maltreatment was meted out on his associates.

Kemi Filani news recalls that fast rising singers, Zinoleesky and Mohbad, who are signed to Naira Marley music label, Marlian Music were arrested by operatives of NDLEA on Thursday night, February 24th.

According to reports, officials of the agency broke into the singers’ apartment without search warrants, assaulted and arrested them.

Confirming their arrest, an officer of the NDLEA Femi Babafemi, while speaking with Newsmen, said Zinoleesky and Mohbad were arrested based on reliable information, and were found in possession of molly and cannabis.

Though the agency has released Mohbad; Zinoleesky and 3 others are still in their custody.

Naira Marley who is presently not in the country, has called on the agency to release his boys.

Naira Marley confirmed that Mohbad has been released after been tortured.

He revealed that Zino, Shubomi, micee and dosky are still in their custody and are under a lot of stress.

“What is happening to my brothers is disgusting. The injustice us unfair and this is beginning to look like a pattern. First me now my artists. Free Zinoleesky, free shubomi, free micee and dosky”

“NDLEA have released Mohbad after physically assaulting him. Zinoleesky is still in custody. The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrant. I’m urgently returning to Lagos now now now”.

Mohbad has cried out for help a few hours after his release from the custody of the Nigerian Law Enforcement Agency.

A few hours after his release, Mohbad took to his Instagram live session to cry for help stating that some people are after his life.
Mohbad added that Naira Marley and Marlian’s music should be held responsible if anything happens to him.

In the viral video, some people were seen in the background cautioning him to stop the live video attributing his word to a mental breakdown.
