Ex BBN winner, Mercy Eke recently spoke up in an emotional interview about the public reception she received upon her return to the Big Brother Naija All-Stars show. Having previously participated in Big Brother in 2019, Mercy Eke’s comeback to the popular reality TV series has been met with mixed reactions.
Her decision to return to Big Brother was an exciting opportunity for her and her fans. However, she soon found herself facing lots of backlash and negativity. The public’s reception toward her participation in the All-Stars edition and even her fellow housemate seemed to have taken an unexpected turn, affecting both her mental well-being and her interactions within the house.
The negative reception faced by Mercy led to misunderstandings and strained relationships with other participants. Both fellow housemates’ perceptions have also contributed to her feeling isolated and betrayed.
Mercy reveals that her biggest crime was wanting more for herself. She tearfully and emotionally expressed that she did not understand the hate people had towards her because she was not the only ex winner present in the house.
