Popular fast-rising singer Temilade Openinyi, Tems who recently released a rare photo of her mother has shared a bitter experience of her life before fame.
According to Tems, life was not easy for she and her mom as they past through difficult times, one of which was when her mother was attacked by someone who broke into their house and held her at knife point. And at a point in their tough life, she quit her job and took permission from her mother to venture into music which totally changed their lives.
Speaking further Tems said she will be dedicating one of her hit tracks, ‘Mr Rebel’ to her mother.
KFN recalls that a rare photo of Temilade Openinyi, Tems’ mother, surfaced online, with many reacting with amusing comments.
The photo captured the beautiful Tems and her mother in a warm and cozy embrace.
The picture was also accompanied by an old photo of Tems’ mother, alleged to be a cover for a seasoning advert.
Kemi Filani reported that Tems made a revelation concerning the old photo on social media when an old tweet by the singer surfaced online.
Tems remark to a tweet by a tweep in 2018 confirmed the photo as her mother.
She tweeted: “Lmao!! My mum!!”.
“Lmao feels so surreal to see my mum like this, what a spice”.
The new picture that found its way to the photo-sharing app, Instagram, got many gushing about Tems mother’s beauty, although she had aged compared to the old photo.
