Actor Musiliu Ajikanle dies in his sleep, weeks after receiving N3million for treatment

Nollywood actor, Musiliu Ajikanle is dead.
The Yoruba actor, who has been down with stroke for over seven years, has reportedly passed away.
According to reports, Musiliu Akisanya passed away in his sleep on Sunday night.
His son confirmed the news to a blog as well as revealed that his father has been laid to rest according to Muslim rite.
The news of his demise is coming just a few weeks after philanthropist clergyman, Pastor Gabriel raised over N3 millions for his medical expenses.
The news of death has rocked the Yoruba entertainment industry this year. From Fadeyi Oloro to Murphy Afolabi, Iyabo Oko, amongst others.
Veteran Yoruba actor, Fadeyi Oloro is dead
In March, Nollywood actor, Ojo Arowosafe better known as Fadeyi Oloro was pronounced dead after a protracted illness.
The news of his death was no doubt a big blow to the movie industry, especially the Yoruba movie industry.
His death came after celebrity clergyman, Pastor Adegboyega had offered him financial assistance.
Mourning him, Bayegun Oluwatoyin better known as Wole Arole stated that he was happy to have supported the late veteran actor when he was in need.
Through his verified Instagram page, the Successful stand-up comedian, radio presenter, and skit maker also urged his fans and followers to always look out for one another especially when they are alive.
Veteran Yoruba actress, Iyabo Oko is dead
In June, Veteran Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odukanwi, better known as Iyabo Oko died.
The veteran Yoruba actress died on Wednesday evening, June 29th, 2023.
According to reports, Iyabo Oko, who had been away from the movie scene for years now, had been battling with ill health which had led to her untimely demise.
Though much details about her death weren’t made known, her daughter, Bisi Aisha, confirmed the news of her death.
She wrote, “May ur soul Rest in Peace Mummy”.
Murphy Afolabi is dead
Nothing shook the entire Yoruba industry more than the death of Murphy Afolabi.
In a post by his colleague, Tunde Ola Yusuf on his Instagram page, the Yoruba actor was confirmed dead on Sunday, May 16th.
Praying for his soul to rest in peace, he bade the actor farewell.
“We lost a strong Filmmaker Murphy Afolabi. May God rest your soul bro”.
Kemi Filani learned that the actor slipped on tiles and hit his head on a hard surface.
His colleague, Seun Oloketuyi disclosed the sad news on his Instagram page.
According to him, Murphy died after sustaining injuries from falling in the bathroom.
