Mr P gets his first international award nomination since leaving Psquare

Peter Okoye aka Mr P has gotten his first international nomination since leaving the defunct Psquare.

Mr P got nominated in the IARA Awards for Best International Artiste and Best Male Artiste categories.

Sharing the news, he wrote:

”2 nominations: INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT RECOGNITION AWARDS. Shout out to my Loyal Fans This one is for you? My first ever award nomination. Not one but two! It can only get better and better. @iara_awards I’m truly honoured and congrats to other nominees y’all are incredible . 1 Luv.”

In a recent interview, Mr P spoke about the split with his brother, stating that music made the both of them part ways, which is contrary to the believe that women and money caused their break up.

The truth and nothing but the truth is it had nothing to do with money, it had nothing to women, it’s just a normal thing like where you argue or quarrel with your sibling. It’s normal. The only sad thing about it is that it got out. After all, when it was happening, we were still performing shows. So people took our private life to our business which I don’t blame them. But the fact that they took it too far. I and Paul are.. it’s not even a rift, the thing was mere argument, Peter Okoye said.
