Ace comedian and content creator, Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni has recounted how God picked his call after he got expelled from four universities and suffered depression.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform, Mr Macaroni, who has always spoken out on how he was dropped by several universities, reflected on his trials.
He revealed that he dealt with depression in late 2017/2018 after he was expelled from his 4th university.
According to him, he wasn’t watching any movies as his life alone was a film for people to watch.
His depression continued to 2018 – 2019 and he continued hustling roles in Nollywood, going from one audition to another.
Mr Macaroni disclosed that he started creating content and posting online late 2019 when depression almost killed him, but luckily for him, God picked his call the same year.
“Lol, I was dealing with depression late 2017/2018. That was the period I was expelled from Uni. And it was the 4th University at the time.
Abeg wetin consine me with watching film then? My life sef na film wey people dey watch.
From 2018 – 2019 was another round of depression. I continued hustling for roles again in Nollywood. I have been acting on and off since like 2011.

Mr Macaroni reacts to rumor that he didn’t graduate from University
Recall that in 2021, Mr Macaroni had reacted to the speculation that he didn’t graduate from the University.
In a shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, Mr Macaroni revealed he was expelled from school in 2017, and they took the school to court the same year.
According to Macaroni, they settled the case in 2018, and he graduated with his certificate.
Mr Macaroni added that prominent personalities close to the VP were responsible for the rumors that he didn’t graduate from school because he criticized the VP.

In another post, Mr Macaroni made a shocking revelation about his life and parents.
The comedian cum activist, in a post shared on the microblogging platforms, revealed that he attended four different universities.
According to Mr Macaroni, his parents stood by him all through the years of his difficult times, even when people were discouraging them, saying he had spiritual problems.
Mr Macaroni prayed for all parents that they would all reap the fruit of their labor and sacrifice.
He tweeted: I went to four different universities. And all through those years, my parents stood by me. Even when some people were telling them that I had spiritual problems. May all our parents reap the fruits of their labor and sacrifice Amen”.
