Mr Macaroni drags Nigerian Police force

Popular skit maker and actor, Debo Adebayo, professionally known as Mr Macaroni, has applauded the Nigeria Police for helping stranded motorists.

Kemi Filani News reports a video that showed the officers changing the tyre of a vehicle that appeared to have developed a fault while in transit, had surfaced on social media eliciting diverse comments.

However, Mr Macaroni commended the policemen via his Twitter handle stating that he hoped to see more of such actions in Nigeria.

He wrote, “Rare footage of Nigerian Police showing love. Highly commendable. More of this Abeg.”

In the video, one of the occupants of the vehicle, who didn’t mention his name on camera, said the policemen saw him and his wife in need of help after their car developed a fault.

He noted that they rendered help without asking or collecting any monetary compensation and asked Nigerians to thank them on their behalf.

Kemi Filani News recalls that back in 2021, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, invited some known faces of the EndSARS protest to a peace walk for “the healing of Lagos”.

The governor in a speech on the Lekki shootings of October 20, 2020, said, “In December, I will be leading A WALK FOR PEACE to herald the healing of our land. Let me use this occasion to extend an open invitation to our youths, members of the diplomatic corps, civil society groups, students and the media as well as other stakeholders to join me.”

Specifically, the governor invited Folarin Falana (Falz), Debo Adebayo (Mr. Marcaroni), Seun Kuti and others.
