Lekki Traffic: Mr Macaroni, Laura Ikeji, Acapella cry out

Celebrities cry out over Lekki traffic

As Lekki residents and workers battle the constant daily traffic, Nigerian celebrities have taken to social media page to cry out to the government.

For the past weeks, many have lost their jobs, turned down appointments, and resigned due to the ridiculous amount of traffic on Lekki Ajah express way.

Many are getting frustrated and infuriated with the government over their negligence to their outcry and pleas.

Nigerian celebrities are using their platforms to call the government’s attention to the growing increase of traffic around the axis.

Celebrities like Mercy Aigbe, Mr Macaroni, Acapella, Laura Ikeji have all lent their voices.

Mercy Aigbe wrote on her Instagram page :

“How exactly is one supposed to be productive when you spend almost all day in Lagos gridlock!

Nigeria is frustrating jare! No fuel, No Power, No good road, the list is long!!!!! I mean nothing! Nothing!!”

Debo Macaroni tweeted :
“I dont think any traffic in Nigeria can beat the one people face on Lekki-Ajah road.
This is so exhausting”

Comedian Acapella : “I actually can’t believe I’ve been in this Lekki Traffic for 3 hours 16 minutes, for a 20mins journey.

To make it worse the map is till estimating 1 hour 32 mins till I get home!

Lagos which way na?”

Influencer, Laura Ikeji wrote :

“Almost 4 hours in the traffic and we ain’t moving”.

Uche Nnaji : “My face today listening to Y’all complain about traffic YESTERDAY and TODAY along the Ajah Lekki Axis…

How can people be comfortable with a construction company not working overnight??
And everybody is just okay with it??

My take? We are not ready for the quality of LIFE we are wishing”.
