Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu, has penned a note to him.
The social media influencer, via her Instagram page, appreciated Paul Okoye for standing in the gap. She noted how the singer despite his busy schedule was there from the beginning and stood till the end and yet he didn’t make noise about it. She further praised the singer for keeping all his good deeds in silence.
Jasmine also appreciated the general public for standing by her ailing father as she revealed that last year was overwhelming, both the good, bad, and the ugly.
“Last year was so overwhelming, the good, the bad, the ugly, this year promises to be better, Dear sir @iamkingrudy
Thank you so much for standing in the Gap! You were there from the beginning and stood till the end and yet you didn’t even make any noise about it! That’s how you know Good people! All your good deeds were done in silence! To that effect, I want to say God Bless you! And to everyone who has stood solidly with us through this trying period, thank you”.
This is coming months after she regained freedom from police custody after Mr Ibu’s wife ordered her arrest over his donation money.
According to Gistlover, an Instagram blogger, his wife wanted to take over the donation money to fund her lavish lifestyle as she is always talking about buying an iPhone 15 and new cars. The blog also claimed that Mr Ibu’s wife had used her account to get N1 million from the donation.
Reacting to it, Stella Maris alleged that Jasmine was trying to make her an outsider in her marriage. Describing her statement as malicious, she vowed to address Jasmine’s excessive interference in her family affairs and other related matters.
Refuting her claims, Mr Ibu’s son, Daniel revealed that he is the one in charge of the actor’s account, as he is the signatory to the account and his next of kin.
Following this, Stella ordered their arrest, and blogger, Cutie Juls had exposed Ibu’s son and Jasmine for misusing his donation money. The blog claimed that they were using the donation money to fund their travel expenses.
After almost two weeks of being in the police station, Jasmine has finally been released and her name has been cleared of all allegations.
In a video captured online, a man had declared Jasmine free of all charges as he revealed that their findings showed that Jasmine had nothing to do with the money being transferred.
