Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mimi Orjiekwe has opened up on her ongoing battle with embattled billionaire, Michael Diongoli.

Kemi Filani reported months back that Michael Diongoli was arrested over fraud for allegedly defrauding a retired Army colonel and others of billions.

Diongoli faced eight counts of conspiracy, obtained by pretenses and fraud, and arraigned alongside his two firms, UK-Don Group, and UK-Dion Investment Limited, before Justice Lewis-Allagoa.

Following his arrest, many of the billionaire’s properties were confiscated by the police, including the ones he gifted his numerous side chicks which many alleged were BBNaija Nengi, Mimi Orjiekwe, Nuella Njubigbo and Onyi Alex

There were rumors that Nengi’s Range Rover was confiscated by the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

Michael Diongoli had named dropped Mimi Orjiekwe and laid some allegations on her after buying furniture from her interior decoration business and the movie star had visited Okoye police station Special Fraud Unit. Her lawyer stated that Diongoli had allegedly refused to pay an outstanding huge sum of naira for storage and clearance charges.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mimi noted how Diongoli, whose name she didn’t mention, lied against her and wanted to bring her down.

The mother of one promised to speak out one day but for now, she will keep mute because the case is still in court.

Despite his allegations, more doors, and blessings tripled afterward and it has left her overwhelmed.

“God sees all!! God knows all!! Few months ago someone told a lie that could destroy my business because he didn’t want to go down alone !! Someday I will speak about it .. (We are still in the court of law)

But the point is. More doors, blessings tripled afterward. Am not noisy if you know me! But am overwhelmed… My Dad told me then to let go and watch God… God bless his soul!! God is great!!”.

Mimi Orjiekwe opens up on court battle with Michael Diongoli

In July, Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo alleged that Mimi Orjiekwe was allegedly arrested by the Nigerian police over N700m fraud.

In a post on her official Twitter handle, Kemi Olunloyo claimed that The Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of Nigeria police in Ikoyi, Lagos State, had arrested and detained the actress for 700 million Naira fraud.

According to Kemi, embattled businessman, Michael Diongoli had filed a petition to the Ikoyi Law Enforcement Police Department to help locate and arrest Mimi, who had failed to keep to her contract of delivering interior decoration items.
