Mercy Aigbe’s stylist Luminee breaks silence amid plagiarism lawsuit

Celebrity fashion designer, Luminee is paying a deaf ear to the allegations leveled against her.

Kemi Filani News reported earlier that actress Eniola Ajao and Luminee were called out for plagiarism by an Ivorian stylist.

The Ivorian stylist slammed the designer for copying her style without giving her credit.

Luminee had recreated the stylist’s cowries outfit design for Eniola Ajao to rock at the movie premiere of Femi Adebayo, King of Thieves on Sunday 4th April 2022.

Eniola Ajao did not only get many people talking about her outfit but also won the best-dressed female at the event, which earned her a cash prize of one million Naira.

A few days after the most talked-about movie premiere, the Ivorian stylist had called out Eniola Ajao and her stylist Luminee for copying her work without credit.

The Ivorian stylist frowned at the reproduction of her work without any permission or giving a mention or credit for the outfit.

According to the Ivorian stylist, they had reached out to Luminee to give them credit for the work, but she’s yet to receive any response from her, and they are taking legal action.

Unbothered Luminee took to her Instagram page to share photos of a dress she made.

She stated that there is nothing better than watching her prayers become a reality.

Luminee added that her outfit designs are her styling and her work.

“Like Seriously! I feel.like Giveaway this Dress. Tag the person wearing. Nothing better than watching your prayers become a reality. It’s Luminee’s styling. It’s Luminee’s work”.
