Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has continued to fight dirty with her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry, over the father’s day post.

Kemifilani News recalls the social media brouhaha started after Mercy Aigbe celebrated herself on father’s Day without acknowledging the role of a father figure in her children’s lives.

Reacting Lanre Gentry, blast the actress for living a life not worthy of being called wife or mother and denied being an irresponsible father adding he had helped the actress in the past to pay school fees of another man’s child

Mercy Aigbe fired back, calling him a shameless man and threatening to release evidence showing he has not been performing his responsibilities as a father.

While responding on his Instagram page, Lanre threatened to expose the dirty secrets of the actress, accusing her of prostitution and living a fake life on social media.

In a new post shared on Instagram, Mercy Aigbe bragged about her personality, saying celebrating herself on father’s day shouldn’t be anybody’s problem except if such a person falls into the category of deadbeat dads.

Giving reasons for celebrating herself, Mercy Aigbe reiterates she plays the father’s role in her children’s lives.

The actress references a popular cliché, ‘Na Man You Be’, and she falls in this category, which doesn’t literally mean the person must be a man.

She wrote: Someone called me Mama ‘D’ Papa yesterday and I like it. Btw I am not calling myself a Man oh! I am a Beautiful, Bold, Strong Queen and celebrating myself on Father’s Day shouldn’t be anybody headache really ( only if you fall into the category of deadbeat dads) ….. I celebrate myself coz I play the role ‘father’ Have you ever heard of the phrase ‘Na Man you be’??… it doesn’t literally mean that the person it’s being said, it to must be a Man! So pleaseeee allow me! No be Beans Abeg On this note, I close the chapter for this year’s Father’s Day brouhaha ……till I come your way next year! Remember to always stay FOCUSED!
