“For the first time I’m not sure how to react on my birthday” May Edochie marks birthday with mixed emotions

May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor, Yul Edochie is for the first time marking her birthday with mixed emotions.

The mother of four, who became mother of three following the loss of her child, revealed that for the very first time, she isn’t sure how to react on her birthday.

She further revealed that she had mixed emotions and had to cancel her glam shoot, but it took an army to successfully get her robbed.

Despite it all, she is grateful for life and the amazing people in her life compromising of her loved ones and fans.

She noted how this year is meant to be another year of growth and a chance to pause, reflect, and appreciate her accomplishments.

“It’s my birthday and meant to be another year of growth and a chance to pause, reflect, and appreciate my accomplishments.

But for the very first time in my life, I’m not sure how to react to my birthday. I have mixed emotions and had to cancel my “all glam” shoot. It took nearly an army to successfully get me robbed in this fabric. It’s not an actual dress.

All glory be to God for the gift of life and the amazing people in my life comprising of my loved ones and you my amazing fam.

Dear Lord, you already know my special request on this day, pls grant it”.

This past year has been a challenging one for the now mother of three, from losing her first son to having a crashed marriage, yet she remains strong and resilient.

Kemi Filani reported in March that May Edochie lost her first son after he was rushed to the hospital and placed on medical care.

Speaking about his death, May described it as the most devastating and traumatic circumstance of her life, which left her in a state of resigning herself to fate with a meaningless and overwhelming feeling.

To worsen things, she lost her husband of over 18 years following his marriage to his junior colleague, Judy Austin.

May had officially filed for divorce from him and is seeking N100 million as damages from Judy Austin for adultery.

She has also filed a restraining order against him, stopping him from accessing their former matrimonial home.

Marking a new beginning, May stated that it is a new beginning for her, as she appreciated the public for their overwhelming love.

However, the entrepreneur has many reasons to be grateful as many Nigerians including celebrities stood by her.

Just a few days back, May had launched her first business, since her split from the actor.

The mother of three unveiled her two new businesses, a perfume line, and a shampoo, as she expressed how overjoyed she is to see her business come to life.

To top it off, she and her daughter Danielle Edochie had gotten an endorsement deal with a popular skincare brand.
