Nollywood actress Mary Njoku has opined that qualifying for the world cup would have been a distraction for many Nigerians.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup after drawing Ghana 1-1 on Tuesday night.

In a post on her Instagram page, Mary Njoku said she is thankful to God that the Super Eagles did not qualify for the 2022 World cup.

According to Mary Njoku, Nigerians need to focus on the real problems in the country and pressure the government to do something.

Referring to the attack on a train and the airport, Mary Njoku added that Nigeria’s insecurity is alarming and needs everyone’s attention.

In her words: Thank God we didn’t qualify for the world cup. It would have been a distraction. We need to focus on the real problems in Nigeria and pressure the Govt to do something.

An attack on a train! An attack at the airport. The insecurity in Nigeria is alarming. No more unnecessary distractions!!! This need everyone’s attention.

Kemi Filani News recalls Mary Njoku slammed young ladies who rely solely on a man’s wealth following the post of a man who shared the photo of a girl he took on a trip after she refused him s*x.

The angered man took the lady on a trip to Dubai for a week but ended up cutting the vacation short because of her refusal to give in, even though the lady was aware the lovemaking thing would happen.

In reaction to the post shared, the actress expressed disappointment at the lady who had made a wrong choice and depended on a man for money or luxury items. Adding that hunger has made some girls settle for less in society.

According to her, women are not sex toys meant to be used and dumped just for money as she slammed the man who had taken the lady’s pictures and shared them online because she denied him sex.

Speaking further, she said ladies should try as much as possible to hustle for themselves to avoid being forced to do things they don’t want to do.
