A Kaduna based young man identified as Mustapha Bulama has allegedly been played after winning a N500K challenge on Twitter.
The man who had taken the pain, strength energy and wasted cash over a puzzle in order to win N500,000 was celebrated on the social media platform but received a message stating that the prize money”500k” was 500kobo and not 500,000 naira.
What transpired on Twitter started when a photo of some school students taking their lecture in an uncompleted building and sitting on the floor was posted and captioned with a short post which read that students in Kaduna are sitting on the bare floor receiving classes.
It was further revealed that despite N74m to construct 12 blocks of classroom in Subeb project, the situation of things did not change. The poster noted that the advocacy is to ensure that the school is built.
Twitter was set on fire by the shocking post and people called out the Kaduna state government. In a bid to calm the fury of the social media users who are now privy to the information, one Mallam Isqak responded and tagged the Governor of Kaduna State, Governor El-rufai, in his post that read;
“This is not Kaduna, i will give cash of N500k to anybody to prove this school is in Kaduna. Education is the main priority of @Governor Kaduuna@elfufai”
Mustapha noted that he got a clue of the location from @TranckNG, and decided to look for the place. On getting there, he took photos and videos of the location and posted online while everyone agreed that he was right with the location
Upon sending his account details to Ishaq, he received a message that read;
” I know, the reason is that i was shocked that you put in so much effort to find the school. I really admire your investigative journalism and i respect you for that
Secondly yes i challenged for prove and promised to pay 500kobo although i put 500k in short and it turns out my role model and mentor is the one that do the tax and even send me account number, it’s really confusing to me especially the number of calls i received honestly am really out of word”
