Mabel Makun, the wife of Nigerian comedian and box office king, Ayo Makun, has vowed to end the year on a high note.
The mother of two, who has many reasons to be grateful this year, lamented over how it’s been months of sleepless nights for her. However, as the year comes to an end, she is grateful to God for the gift of life.
Sharing a video of her and her one-year-old daughter dancing, she stated that she must end the year on a high note.
“It’s been months of sleepless nights but hey! The year is coming to an end and I am super grateful to God for the gift of life. The talking drum is saying something so I am dancing because I must end the year on a high note”.
Recall that Mabel and AY lost their valuables and Lagos house to a fire incident. The couple had to temporarily relocate with their kids to the US.
Despite it all, the comedian counted his blessings, stating that he has many reasons to thank God for our lives. He went on to assure his wife of recovering their loss as he expressed confidence in overcoming his loss.
The ‘Merry Men’ producer, via his Instagram page, said that as long as he and his interior designer wife, Mabel Makun remain united, they will be unstoppable. He believes that the different situations they go through in life, his God’s ways of creating something in us that is unstoppable.
Early this month, the couple celebrated their 15th wedding, and AY celebrated their marriage with deep thought reflecting on the past and trials of their humble beginnings and present which was marked with the hustle and bustle of sweetness, bitterness, pains, and gains.
The comedian cum actor marked 20 years of meeting his wife and 15 years of being married, with beautiful wishes of love strength, patience, and tolerance.
Last week, Ayo Makun sang the praises of his wife, appreciating her for her selfless work. He revealed that he came home to see all the good work she had been doing to get the home kicking again.
AY stated that men need a good woman like his wife with a strong personality, who is also gentle at heart, reliable, and dutiful.
