Big Brother Naija first runner up Cynthia Nwadiora popularly known as Ceec has reacted to the crisis in Nigeria which started with a peaceful protest.
Ceec expressed her disappointment at Nigerian government for not listening to the pleas of the masses for a better governance.
” A feeling of deep hurt and pain. A feeling of hopelessness and defeat, in spite of our collective efforts. We used our voices. We marched on the streets to demand for change and long-needed reforms and overhaul of a system that has never meant well for us,” she wrote on her verified Instagram page.
Speaking further, Ms Nwadiora added, “Words can’t begin to describe how sad and sorry I am for our heroes who sacrificed their lives for a better Nigeria. And for those who lost loved ones to a system that has absolute disregard for the lives they took an oath to protect. I feel mentally, emotionally and physically drained. But our leaders shouldn’t count this as a victory. They shouldn’t get comfortable for a second. They have ignited a fire in us that they’ll never be able to put out. It will burn slow, but it will burn far and won’t spare those who have caused- and continue to cause- Nigeria and Nigerians, pain. Stay the course, my friends. I love you all.God bless Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ”
