Nigerians have taken to the streets of Lagos to show their massive support and love for disgraced singer, Naira Marley as he shoots a new music video.
In a video making rounds online, the embattled artiste could be seen standing on a bus, smoking as the camera rolled on him. Amid the allegations against him, social media users were surprised to see Nigerians rally behind him as he entertained them.
One Twitter user crying out stated that it is safe to say that the hate for Naira Marley is only on social media as many love him behind the scenes. He added that Naira Marley’s cancelation is only on social media and not in real life as he expressed sadness at how late Mohbad wouldn’t get justice.
“It’s safe to say Naira Marley is only canceled online on Twitter, and not in real life and No street won’t revenge Mohbad’s passing”.
Taking to the comment section, while many concurred with the Tweep, others defended Naira Marley, claiming he is innocent of the allegations.

Kemi Filani reported some days back that in a recent event that lit up social media, Naira Marley and Sam Larry were captured celebrating while wearing radiating smiles at an event.
The images and videos shared on various platforms, showed the artists embracing the festivities, with Naira Marley adorned in diamond necklaces and stylish shades, while Sam Larry sported a traditional outfit complemented by sleek black shades.
However, the online reaction to their appearance was far from celebratory. Social media users expressed their disapproval, with some even stating that they watched the event with “disgust.”
The last time Naira Marley made massive headlines was when he dragged Iyabo to court, demanding a public apology from the controversial actress or risk facing legal proceedings which could amount to N500 million as damages.
In his lawsuit, Naira accused the mother of two of defaming him, alleging that the actress published false and malicious content about him on her Instagram page.
Iyabo Ojo isn’t the only one, the disgraced singer has threatened to sue.
Before being released from prison, Naira Marley and his aide, Sam Larry had filed a lawsuit against the Magistrate and Police over their continuous detention, seeking N20m each as damages.
This came after a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, on October 4, 2023, remanded Naira Marley and Sam Larry, over allegations of bullying the late former Marlian Music signee Mohbad. However, the two were later released.
Recall that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested and alleged to be responsible for the death of Naira Marley’s former signee, Mohbad, and were kept in police custody for more than five weeks.
The pair were released on November 17th after the duo met their bail conditions. This was confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Friday, where he revealed that they had perfected their bail conditions granted by a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court.
