Lagbaja’s backyp signer ego and husband

Ego, the former backup singer for Lagbaja, is currently mourning the loss of her husband, Niyi Ogbaro.

Nwakaego Iheanacho, known as Ego, recently lost her spouse, who passed away in the United States on Wednesday, as confirmed by Chris Kehinde.

Kehinde shared a photo of the couple on his Instagram page on Thursday with a heartfelt caption expressing his disbelief and offering condolences. Nwakaego Iheanacho and Ogbaro got married in 2009. However, it seems that the two had some problems underground as they were reportedly living separately for some time.

Before her husband’s passing, Ego had removed him from her social media accounts, sparking even more rumors of trouble in their marriage. Ego and Lagbaja collaborated on hits such as ‘Konko Below,’ ‘Nothing for You,’ and ‘Never Far Away’ before she decided to pursue a solo career.

Lagbaja finally reveals why he has been covering face for over 30 years

Recall that back in 2021, Kemi Filani reported that Lagbaja who is believed to be Bisade Ologunde finally gave solid reasons on why his face is always covered. Ithe ex-GCI student and a prominent member of Field House had revealed that he picked up Lagbaja as a concept.

He revealed he had picked up on the name Lagbaja twelve or thirteen years ago. He had picked the concept that the common man was a nobody or even somebody because it’s faceless. In trying to depict that facelessness, it has struck his mind that the mask was the fastest way to show a face that has no face because the mask itself is a face. It gives you another view and another face, but behind that mask, there is actually a face. So the mask was used to depict the so-called faceless common man.
