Kwam1 pays tribute to Mohbad

Mixed reactions have trailed Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde popularly known as Kwam1 or K1 De Ultimate’s tribute to late singer, Mohbad at his concert.

Despite it being over three weeks since the singer’s death, many celebrities and public figures are still paying tribute to him, especially at their concerts or events.

One of those paying special tribute to the singer is Kwam1, who took time out at his ongoing Coronation ceremony in Ijebu, to pay tribute to the young deceased.

He noted how Nigeria is blessed with a whole lot of artists, unfortunately, we lost one this month and that’s Mohbad.

Kwam1 further noted how the death of Mohbad caught us unaware and made us feel bad about ourselves and our attitudes.

Bading him farewell, he prayed for him to rest in peace.

“We have a whole lot of artists that can keep the country together, we have Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Sãvage. Unfortunately, something happened to us a while ago, it caught us unaware and it set us back, and made us feel bad about ourselves and our attitudes. Mohbad rest in peace.

Mohbad we pray to God Almighty, may your soul rest in peace”.

Netizens took to the comment section to fault him for paying tribute to the singer, yet his daughter is the lawyer for Naira Marley, who according to reports bullied Mohbad till his death.

Kemi Filani reported in July that KWAM1 or K1 De Ultimate, had received a confirmation letter on his new title.

The Fuji singer was conferred with the title of The New Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu, during the Ojude Oba festival in IJebu.

Celebrities like Mercy Aigbe Adeoti, Shina Peller, Queen Salawa Abeni, and other close associates of KWAM1 celebrated his latest achievement.

Mercy Aigbe and her husband, after their return from Mecca, even paid tribute to the Fuji singer and his wife.
