Kanye West breaks the Internet with release of ‘Jesus Is King’ Album

American rapper, Kanye West has finally released his long-awaited album titled ‘Jesus is King.’

He released the album on Friday and it has been trending on Twitter since then.

Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, celebrated the album’s release on Twitter. She tweeted, “Jesus Is King Is out!!!! Praise God 🙏🏼 What’s your favourite song?”

Some of the songs on the album include,’ Jesus is King’, ‘Use this Gospel,’ ‘God is,’ ‘Hands on’ and more.

This is Kanye West’s ninth studio album and it is a total departure from his previous albums. There is not a single secular song on the album.

Earlier this month, West announced that he had converted to Christianity and he had been holding Sunday services for some time now.

Also, while opening up about the recording process behind the project.

Kanye West said he made some major lifestyle changes in the year that’s followed since creative directing the inaugural PornHub Awards in September 2018 and his solution for the recording of Jesus Is King? Celibacy.

“There were times where I was asking people not to have premarital sex while they were working on the album. There were times where I went to people that were working on other projects and said can you just work and focus on this? I thought if we could all focus and fast. Families who pray together stay together” Kanye West told Lowe.
