Kanayo Kanayo on 3rd mainland bridge

Veteran actor, Kanayo Kanayo has shared his two cents on the improved 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos.

Taking to his Instagram page, the legendary actor gave a review of the bridge as he and his driver passed through it. In a video captured online, he hailed the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the new state of the bridge.

Kanayo noted how the bridge hadn’t been in good condition in all the years he had lived in Lagos, but now, things have changed since he became President of the nation. Hailing him, he thanked the president for saving Nigerians from the tri-monthly repairs that always made Federal Government shit down the bridge.

He however stated that though the bridge was good, it wasn’t the kind of rehabilitation he expected.

Taking to his comment section, some of his followers applauded him for appreciating the President and not constantly bashing him.

One Simbiat Gafar wrote, “I like the fact that we’re appreciating the good work done. The same energy we use in bashing them when they go wrong is also used in praising them

One Abdul Abdul wrote, “Imagine all the roads in the country look like this

One Ozeloreco wrote, “Why giving credit to Tinubu for the road. Federal Government would’ve been better

One Nonso Obasi wrote, “Kudos to the company and welcome to the Federal Government

One Babie Busie wrote, “I drove through the bridge yesterday and I was amazed

One Freeman Naz wrote, “Year! We need patience so the president can use his wisdom to sacrifice for the work”.

Recall that months back, former NURTW boss, MC Oluomo had lost one of his aides, Akintoye Benson in a ghastly car accident on Third Mainland Bridge.

While mourning him, actress, Nkechi Blessing had alerted drivers about the danger of the 3rd Mainland Bridge, stating that the new bridge is dangerous and is more like a death trap.

She revealed that despite her driving experience, she almost had an accident even when she wasn’t speeding, and now she had lost a good friend on that same bride.

As many are dying on Third Mainland Bridge, others are getting robbed. Last year, actor Jide Awobona recounted his wife’s scary experience at the hands of robbers, who threatened her at gunpoint.

Also, Yvonne Jegede recounted how she was almost robbed at about 9 pm while stuck in traffic on the bridge. The movie star called for the bridge to be sanitized and warned her fans to be careful of how they drive at night, especially when alone.
