Nigerian celebrities such as Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa, Mr Macaroni, Tacha have joined other Nigerians to protest against the rising insecurity and bad governance in the country.
Several groups and activists had vowed to stage protest in all parts of the country as Nigeria celebrates Democracy Day on June 12 and they kept to their words.
In some of the videos that surfaced online, Tiwa Savage, Tacha, Falz were seen chatting and lamenting about the high rate of insecurity in the country.
Falz in the video shared on his Instagram page noted that the Nigerian youths have been silent for a long time and will continue to protest for a better Nigeria.

Kemifilani News recalls that President Buhari had said that his administration had lifted 10.5 million people out of poverty.
In his speech ahead of the Democracy Day Celebration today, June 12, he listed farmers, small-scale traders, artisans, market women among the class of persons whose lives have improved under him.
Buhari stated that this is in line with his promise of lifting 100 million persons out of poverty.
