“The ticket is yours” Joke Silva prays for Tinubu/Shettima’s victory ahead of election

Veteran actress, Joke Silva has said a word of prayer for APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the general election on Saturday.

The wife of Olu Jacobs, who has been a proud supporter and campaigner for Tinubu had shared photos from the grand Lagos rally held days back.

Noting how the rally was the last of all presidential rallies, Joke Silva praised Tinubu for having a well fought contest.

Joke prayed that the presidential candidate and his vice, Shettima win the election.

“The Grand Lagos Rally is the last of the presidential rallies for the APC. It has been a well fought contest by our principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And by God’s Grace the ticket is his and Shettimas. As usual with @kemskis and my big Sis H.E Mrs Adejoke Orelope Adefulire SA to the President on SDGs. Thanks ladies for everything”.

Kemi Filani News reported that the highly celebrated actress alongside, Mercy Johnson were drafted into the Tinubu’s Campaign team.

Although they were not the only celebrities in the team, the duo were the most dragged online by Nigerians after the long list was shared online.

Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Fausat Balogun, Bahama Sadau and more had made the list.

Following the news, many expressed disappointment in Joke Silva and Mercy Johnson for pitching tent with the party.

Joke Silva dragged for storming Tinubu’s campaign

Jus days after the news broke out, Joke Silva, who is a member of the Tinubu Campaign team stormed the event, had stormed one of his rallies.

This made Nigerians drag her mercilessly on social media, causing her to make a post on her Instagram page.

A lot of Nigerians questioned her moral justification and asked where she left her ailing husband, Olu Jacobs. One Harmony wrote: “So Joke Silva left Olu Jacobs to come and walk under the sun for someone she’s stronger than for free? That woman smart pass dat one. Lagosians, Collect your money”.
