“Today is the official day” Joke Silva celebrates husband, Olu Jacobs, as he turns 81 with heartfelt prayers

Joke Silva, the wife of Legendary actor, Olu Jacobs has poured out sweet words on him as he turns 81 today.

Sharing a photo of her boo, Joke Silva noted how today is officially his birthday.

According to her, their son has been celebrating his birthday since May, however, today makes it official.

The proud and devoted wife rained prayers on her husband as she gave thanks to God.

“Show boy. Happy birthday dearest as you add plus 1 @_olujacobs God is good… always Sir Js fans have been celebrating his birthday since May. Note…. Today is the official day 11th July”.

Last year, Olu Jacobs was the man of the year as he stepped into the 80th floor.

The veteran was given a befitting birthday party deserving of an icon like him.

The actor’s birthday was held in Lagos with lots of celebrities in attendance.

Joke Silva opens up on husband’s illness and the impact on their marriage

Just days back, Joke Silva had opened up on the impact of her husband, Olu Jacobs’ Illness on their marriage.

In an interview with media personality, Nancy Isime, Joke revealed that the progression of her husband’s health has put a strain on their marriage.

Joke Silva admitted that it hasn’t been easy as the husband she knew is no longer there for her, but the man that is with her is someone she loves.

According to her, there was a point of acceptance for her that everything happening is real and it is like the person she married, 80% of the time is no longer there.

However, she noted how he was always there for her and the kids when he was healthy. She described him as an incredible husband to his children and an amazing husband.

Joke Silva breaks silence on Olu Jacobs’ health condition

In 2021, Joke Silva opened up on the health condition of Olu Jacobs.

This came after actor Jide Kosoko showered praises on Joke Silva for standing, staying with, and taking full care of her husband and actor Olu Jacobs despite how sick he has been for some time now.

Opening up on Olu Jacobs’ health issue, Joke Silva in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, monitored by Kemi Filani, disclosed that Olu is battling dementia.
