Actor Jide Awobona recounts wife’s robbery encounter on 3rd mainland bridge

It’s becoming a scary time for celebrities as they encounter hoodlums on the highway. From Yvonne Jegede to Cubana Chief Priest, Efe Ejeba, and Jide Awobona’s wife, one needs to tread carefully on the highway.

Nollywood actor Jide Awobona has recounted his wife’s scary experience at the hands of robbers.

Taking to Instagram, the actor revealed that his wife was threatened at gunpoint on third mainland bridge.

According to him, a gun was flashed at her and she was threatened to be killed if she failed to drop her money and other stuffs.

But as a sharp babe and Ijebu woman, deceiving them, she pleaded to give them 1,000 from the 3,000 she had in her wallet.

“Mrs A was robbed on third mainland bridge today, she was flashed a gun and was threatened to be killed if she doesn’t drop all her money and other stuff, but as per God, sharp babe and Ijebu woman wey she be she pleaded to give them 1k from the 3k in her wallet, that she needs to get fuel (truly, reason she rolled down to save fuel), after a while, the same guy came back again for her phone as she was still in traffic..

Kemi Filani news recalls Yvonne Jegede had narrated a scary experience she had with robbers.

The actress recounted how she was almost robbed at about 9 pm while stuck in traffic on the third mainland bridge.

According to Yvonne, the guy jumped from under the bridge and targeted her car since she was alone.

Luckily for her, the traffic was light, so the guy took off when he realised the traffic had eased.

Yvonne Jegede called for the bridge at Oworonsoki to be sanitised.

Yvonne Jegede warned her fans to be careful of how they drive at night, especially when alone.

She wrote, “Last night about 9pm, one guy almost robbed me on 3rd MB. I was lucky the traffic moved a bit so I moved my car and then he took off. Under the bridge at Oworonsoki needs to be sanitized. The guy jump out from under the bridge. They target people driving alone. Be safe guys”.

Also, celebrity barman and socialite Pascal Chibuike, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, had penned an appreciation post to God for saving his life and that of his family.

Kemi Filani news reported on Sunday afternoon, August 7th, that Cubana Chief Priest was in a grateful mood after narrowly escaping death.

The socialite’s car was severely damaged as unknown gunmen attacked his convoy in Anambra.

The gunmen had left his car riddled with bullets.

Releasing a statement, Cubana Chief Priest debunked some false news, which made rounds about the incident.

Cubana confirmed the incident and assured the public that all his people were safe and sound.

He appreciated all who called and sent messages to check up on him.

Cubana stated that the incident happened in Anambra and not Imo, as many media outlets reported.

He further stated that the incident happened on his way to work in Asaba.
