Popular Nollywood actor and political activist Yul Edochie has taken to social media to express his view on netizens planning to leave the country.
He said that running away from the country is not the solution.
He further said he is a man sent by God to free his people, and he will never at any point in time leave the country to shy away from the struggles encountered in the country.
He concluded that his plan B is ‘NO LEAVE NO TRANSFER.’
In his words;
“Jakpa is not the answer.
Yes, no one wants to lose his life but truth is, we’ll all die someday, all of us.
So what’s the point of running?
I’m a man sent by God to liberate his people.
I will not run from my fatherland. We must get it right.
My plan B is ‘NO LEAVE NO TRANSFER”.
His tweet appeared after Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the head of the House on the Rock Church, encouraged church members to have a “plan B” to leave the country amid rising insecurity in Nigeria.
Concerning his perception of the issue, some of his fans commented.
@OLUFUNNBIJOHN1: Tor na your own opinion be that one na…..I will be wishing you guys well from Australia
@E_Smilezch: He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day my brother. If you don’t jakpa 1st you cannot think straight on how to help this country. Nigeria will hinder your mental capacity that will make you accustomed to everything wrong, by then normal feels like luxury
@chiomajvine: Baba allow us to jakpa, he who fights and Jakpa, lives to fight another day. Its easy to say cos you can afford 3 square meal a day? What of those who can’t? My dear people, watch, pray and jakpa if you have the opportunity.
