Singer Iyanya reacts to reports of dating BBNaija’s Vee Iye

Nigerian singer, Iyanya has reacted to the rumors of dating Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ housemate, Vee Iye.

Kemi Filani reported that Vee Iye had sparked relationship rumors when she shared a photo of her and a mystery man accompanied by a love declaration.

Keeping the identity of her supposed boo under wraps, Vee shared a photo of his arms, which was full of tattoos.

“Life of a hopeful romantic”, she captioned the photo.

Internet sleuths went on to dig out the identity of her mystery boo through his hands. Many concluded that the reality star was dating Iyanya as the hand matched his.

Reacting to the speculations, Iyanya pointed out how they have no evidence while adding that they would keep explaining.

“No evidence. You go dey explain tire”.

Vee Iye opens up on her break-up with Neo Akpofure

Recall that Vee Iye was romantically linked to her co-housemate, Neo Akpofure who she dated in and outside the house for almost a year.

Unfortunately, their relationship hit the rock as the couple confirmed their split by unfollowing each other on social media.

In an interview with Stephanie Coker for her podcast, Me, her and everything; Vee Iye revealed that her relationship with Neo ended amicably without any drama.

According to her, their relationship was good till things turned sour and they decided to pathways.

Vee Iye admitted that she was hurt over their break-up as she never thought that it would badly affect her.

On her love life, Vee Iye disclosed that she is single to a stupor as the dating pool is full of kan people, who are only after hurting people because they are hurt.

“I am single to stupor. And the people that are single to stupor are all mad. We are all mad, hurt people hurting people. People that are still suffering from their last relationship”.

Iyanya finally addresses his breakup with Yvonne Nelson

Iyanya was also linked to Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson. The two began dating in 2012, but split in 2015, after 3 years.

Speaking on their break-up in a chat with MTV Base VJ Ehiz
on ‘Real Talk’, Iyanya opened up about their relationship.

He stated that they were still cool despite the break-up and confirmed that their relationship was very real, however, their celebrity status was a hindrance to their affair

“Yeah, we’re cool man, we’re cool, yeah. We dated big time. It was a Big proper relationship. Back on forth”.

Years after their break-up, Yvonne alleged that Iyanya had cheated on her with Tonto Dikeh in her memoir.

The singer, had, however, shut down her claims, questioning why she was dishing out several pieces of information.

Taking to his Instagram page, Iyanya shared an old clip of an interview Yvonne granted in 2013. In the interview, where she claimed Iyanya had other women aside from Tonto. She also used bloggers as an excuse for them not to go public whereas it was because he was seeing other women.

Captioning the video, Iyanya noted how the only thing he did was to live and not kill anyone.
