Nigerian singer, Iyanya has spoken out following the backlash he received after pushing a fan off stage.
Kemi Filani reports that during a concert in Akwa, Iyanya, had pushed a male fan off stage. In the viral video, the male fan kept slapping his face with money while spraying him.
This provoked the ‘Kukere’ singer who pushed him off stage.
Breaking his silence following massive backlash, Iyanya via his Twitter page explained the ugly incident.
According to him, the guy kept slapping his face with money and he tried to stop him but his efforts proved abortive.
Iyanya stated that no amount of money should one intends to spray on others, should give them right to disrespect them.
“The guy kept slapping my face with the money and I tried to hold his hand and he continued.
First no matter how much you are spraying, don’t slap someone with it, that’s disrespectful”.
Davido’s bodyguard throws a fan offstage
Last year, Davido trended online after his bodyguard threw off an enthusiastic fan from the stage.
The singer was performing at the Rick Ross and Davido live In concert, when a fan got on the stage to show off his dancing skills.
The fan went on to kneel beside Davido as he tried hugging him. Unfortunately for the male fan, Davido’s guard carried him off stage.
This drew mixed reactions online as many slammed the bodyguard for assaulting the fan.
Davido’s bodyguard pushes away a fan trying to take pictures with him
This wasn’t the first time the singer’s bodyguard would do such. Years back, one of his bodyguards had pushed away a fan who wanted to take a picture with the singer.
In the viral video, a fan ran to take a selfie with him but was turned down as Davido’s bodyguard pushed him away.
Although Davido did not react to the issue, his facial expression seemed like he was tired and uncomfortable with the situation.
