Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has shown support to Lagos socialite, Farida Sobowale, the CEO of House of Phreeda.

Kemi Filani reported on Thursday night that Farida had attempted suicide on the Third Mainland bridge but was rescued by good Samaritans.

According to reports, she drove her Lexus SUV to the bridge, came down, and was about to jump into the Lagoon when some men rescued her.

A video shared online captured the married socialite dressed in black weeping as she was held by the men, who were consoling her.

Kemi Filani learned that she was taken to the Police station for attempting suicide.

Reacting to it, Iyabo who is close to her, revealed that she had just gotten off the phone with her before she learned of the news. According to her, she wouldn’t have gotten off the phone with her, if she knew of her thoughts.

She noted how Farida already knew what she wanted to do, hence, why she diverted Iyabo Ojo’s attention.

However, she is lucky that God saved her and would keep the socialite in her prayers.

“Hmmmm my darling, if I knew you had this on your mind, I wouldn’t have gotten off the phone with you. Of course, you knew what you wanted to do but you diverted my attention elsewhere. Story for when we see (cos you’re going nowhere). Thank God for the people who were there right on time to save the situation, God bless them. My love, this will definitely pass, the sun will shine again, and your tomorrow will be better than your today, but for now, just breathe. I love you so much. Please stay strong. I’m praying for you”.

Nkechi Blessing sends love to Farida Sobowale

Actress, Nkechi Blessing had also taken to her Instagram page to show support for the socialite.

She noted how not everyone is strong enough to handle the pressure that comes from being trolled and bullied on Instagram.

Praying for her, she urged her friends and family to stay by her side as she navigates the tough period.

“Not everyone is strong enough to handle the pressure that comes from being trolled and bullied on Instagram. Dear ma, I pray that God gives you the strength to scale through. It’s a phase and it shall pass. I urge her close friends and family to pls be with her at all times with close monitoring. Trust me, this will only make you stronger and most importantly if your heart is still open to love. That one man that will stand by you till the end of time will definitely find you. Sending you all the love in the world ma”.

Rumour has it that the socialite and her husband, Demola have parted ways, barely two months after they got married in a talk-of-the-town wedding ceremony in Lagos

News making rounds claim that her husband has been badmouthing her to people and has been spilling details about her intimacy and personality to people, especially blogger, Esabod, which is the main cause of her depression and suicidal thought.
