Since the news of actor, Baba Ijesha’s rape sentencing broke out, many have been waiting for Iyabo Ojo’s reaction to the news.
Not one to shy away or be intimidated, Iyabo Ojo rejoiced over the good news as Toolz Oniru eulogised her.
Toolz had revealed how proud she was of the actress’s courage.
According to Toolz, Iyabo Ojo’s tackling of her colleagues made her turn to a big fan of the actress.
Shading those who defended Baba Ijesha, Toolz questioned how people could defend a rapist with clear evidence.
She prayed that Baba Ijesha is giving a vigorous welcome on his first night in prison.
“Iyabo wholeheartedly tackling some of her colleagues over this Baba Ijesha issue made turned me into a massive fan of hers. How ppl could defend nonsense even with clear evidence is beyond me. Hope they give him a vigorous welcome on his first night”.
Reacting, Iyabo Ojo advised those being abused to speak up and never be afraid.
She added that the good news of Baba Ijesha’s sentencing is a victory for them all.
“Queen Mother. To all the girl child & boy child being abused never be AFRAID to speak up and speak out…This victory is for you”.
Kemi Filani news recalls it was all gratitude and joy for comedienne, Princess as her colleague, Baba Ijesha bagged 14 years imprisonment.
After over one year of his arrest and prosecution, an Ikeja Special Offences Court had convicted the embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, alias Baba Ijesha, of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old minor.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in a two-hour judgement on Thursday, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault.
Taiwo, however, discharged and acquitted him of counts one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
He was thereby sentenced to 16 years imprisonment.
Hours after the news broke out, Princess took to Instagram to share a video of her worshipping God.
She captioned the grateful video with, “God is not man”.
