Popular Nigerian born Yoruba celebrity actress, Iyabo Ojo, has been making the rounds online after episode 11 of the reality TV show; “The Real Housewives of Lagos” aired on Friday. The single mother of two was dragged by her frontals by social media users after she was accused of bullying fellow cast, Laura Ikeji Kanu.
On the episode, Iyabo Ojo charged towards pregnant Laura Ikeji with a bottle during a heated arguement. The single mother of two had tagged Laura Ikeji Kanu “Fake” for being friends with new cast, Faith Morey. This didn’t go down well with the Nkwere-Imo born beauty influencer, and mother of two, who asked Iyabo to “sit down.” Angered by Laura’s response, Iyabo charged towards Laura with a bottle. Faith on the other hand swiftly protected Laura, ready to fight off Iyabo.
Many social media users have branded Iyabo a bully and labelled her action “stinky.”
A social media user wrote; “Seriously you can’t take this women anywhere!!! Laura’s calm evaporated before our very korokoro eyes 👀 remember when Iyabo pegged Mariam’s behaviour to spiritual issues? But what about her behaviour now? She admits to being a bully, and resurrects the unsettling season 1 ordeal involving Laura after Laura had pleaded with her several times, is a move steeped in pure malice. Behaving like she has the monopoly on disrespect 😒 🙄 reeks of entitlement. It is undeniably an undiluted cocktail 🍸of all three: malicious, entitled and ignorant. I recall Iyabo saying she has anger management issues…I hope she is seeking the necessary support. This behaviour’s out of line! Remember, this show has international audiences; such brazen actions, served with impunity are both jarring and distasteful….. Can’t wait for the production blame to start flying!!!!”
Another social media user, Miss_Hola wrote, “This scene is not it at all… cos why is Iyabo an agbaya? Starting from what she was wearing 👎, to her attitude (matching)! I like how Laura changed it for her as if she heard everything she said at Tiana’s fashion show. You see that Tania, I’m sure she would be d cause of Iyabo and Chioma falling out. Chai réunion go sweet”
