Kiki Osinbanjo, daughter of the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbanjo has received knocks from Nigerians after saying female business owners will give men a run for their money in couple of years.
According to her, women are creating a new dimension and are making impressive turn overs in the business world which is making them rank better in the economy.
Sharing a post, she said people who look down on female CEOs should carry out their research and see how women are turning over the economy and might over shadow the male counterparts in the next years.
In her words;
Women in business are creating a new normal. The income they could never get from steady jobs. In the next couple of years women who own businesses will really give men a run for their money. (Little drops of water). People who look down on female CEO’s should do their research and see how much they are turning over.
Reacting to this statement, many Nigerians have attacked her stating success is not a competition between men and women, revealing that people make it look like success is only meant for men and sounds surprising when women achieve it.

@drpenking wrote: You didn’t have to bring in the giving men a run for their money part. It’s not always a competition between women and women. Success is not a competition. You people make it sound like success is for men and when women achieve it, it’s a surprising thing. It’s not right.
